Kevin, 43, is also a Seattle native, and the second of Tom's four kids. He and his wife also reside on Whidbey Island, just a short jaunt through the woods from Tom and Megan. Kevin spends his days writing novels and horror stories, preparing meals for his wife, and making sure that Tom stays off the roof. He enjoys reading, crosswords, and an ever-expanding list of hobbies. A cross country ride was never on his radar, but he's excited to see where the road leads. 

Tom, 70, was born and raised in Seattle, WA, where he enjoyed a long and fruitful career in public accounting. He and his wife, Megan, have four children, two grandchildren, and five grand-pups. Since retiring, Tom has relocated to Whidbey Island, where he enjoys cycling, fishing, and lawn care. Riding across the country has long been a big-ticket bucket list item, and he's excited to finally check it off.
